We are Karime and Laura, a dynamic mom-daughter duo with a shared passion for all things fashion. Our journey began with Karime’s extensive background in the fashion industry, having graduated as a Fashion designer and worked with numerous Latin American fashion houses as their lead designer for over 30 years. Drawing inspiration from her creative spirit, Laura, having grown up in this vibrant world of fashion, naturally followed in her mother’s footsteps.
Established on November 9th, 2009, Laura’s Couture & Alterations is a manifestation of our love for the art of fashion. Karime’s wealth of experience, combined with Laura’s keen eye for detail and passion for fashion styling, forms the core of our family-run business. Our studio has proudly served as a hub for alterations for over 15 years.
